Peace That Keeps

The Peace That Keeps!

Perhaps one of the most well known verse in the entire Bible on the Peace of God is Phillipians 4:7, “The peace of God that passes all understanding will keep your heart and your mind through Christ Jesus our Lord.”  One of the key words in this verse is “keep“.  It makes this an assuring peace that has power to keep us in the midst of the most troublesome storms of life.  This verse says that God’s peace will keep our hearts and our minds.  Some say in the midst of difficult times, “I’m about to lose my mind”, but God says, “no!”,  ”I will keep it for you”.    He promises to keep our hearts and our minds with His awesome peace.  This peace is a peace that only He can give, the peace that surpasses all human ability to comprehend.  It is the only true peace that promises emotional, mental and spiritual stability amid the most difficult of times.

Tom Ferguson Remembered – A Man Who Loved Jesus!

This past Sunday, I had the priviledge of ministering at Hope Foursquare Church in Snohomish, WA, the church that my dear friend, Dr. Tom Ferguson was  actively serving as Senior Pastor until his passing four months ago.  I felt honored to have been invited to stand in the place where he stood and to declare the Word of God to his people.  Needless to say, it was a sobering moment, realizing that Tom is gone and will not be returning.  There were many tears in the house.  They say in life you can count on one hand the number of people who have made a signifant impact on your life.  Well for me, Pastor Tom was one of those five.  He was always a great encouragement to Gwen and I in our ministry as evangelists.  I miss the frequent phone calls that always ended with a prayer and a Bible Promise for the day.  I miss his distinctive voice that always carried a tone of hope.  Perhaps his greatest asset was that he was a man who undeniably loved Jesus!

This coming Sunday, Pastor Tom’s son, Andrew Ferguson and wife, Megan will be officially installed as the new Senior Pastors of Hope Foursquare by Northwest District Supervisor, David Veech.  This past Sunday, I had the priviledge of praying a strong personal prophetic Word over Andrew and Megan as they now assume this added responsibility of leadership for the church.

Next Sunday:  Next Sunday I will be ministering at Family Life Center Foursquare Church in Exeter, CA, where Tom and Ronda Ferguson served as Youth Pastors in their early ministry many years ago.  Thanks for your prayers as I minister to people who need Words of Life and Words of Hope from God’s Word.

Being Fitly Joined Together

The Bible says that we have all been “fitly joined together…edifying each other in love”. (Rom. 4:16a)  As we minster all over the United States and Canada, we see the how the Lord has “fitly joined” us together with many different churches and congregations.  As one of the gifts described in Ephesians 4:11,  we as “evangelists” see ourselves as  ”bearers of Good News” to many in and outside of the body of Christ.  If you know Jesus, God has “fitly joined” you too, along side other believers who love God and who can help build you up in the faith.  While we all are different in personalities, manners and ways, God has placed us together as one body strengthened by our common faith in Christ.

This weekendwe will be minstering at the “Life Foursquare Church” in Yreka, CA.  Pray for us as we minister to this growing congregation.

PRAYER OPPORTUNITY: If you have a prayer need, don’t hesitate to contact us and we will pray for you and declare God’s promises in your behalf.  God has called us to “bear one another’s burden”, praying together in faith believing. (Gal. 6:2)  Just click on “Contact” above.

A Great Day of Ministry in Mission Hills, CA

A GREAT DAY OF MINISTRY IN MISSION HILLS, CA  We Praise God for a great day of ministry at Mission Hills, CA where where we served at Living Stone Christian Fellowship with Pastor Tim Vercellono.  Prior to the meetings on Sunday, the church orchestrated a 24 hour prayer vigil with people praying at the church around the clock.  As a result, it was a powerful day of Worship and preaching of the Word of God.

As Pastor Tim led the worship, a prophetic “Song of the Lord” came upon him with power and divine authority.  I experienced the same prophetic annointing as I preached the Gospel.  At the close of my message 5 adults came forward to acknowledge their decision to trust in Christ as personal Savior and Lord. Praise God!

NEXT SUNDAY on August 1st I am preaching in Santa Monica, CA at The Lighthouse.  Pray for another opportunity for Jesus to be exalted and for the Word of God to be declared with the power of the Holy Spirit.

Thank you for praying for these upcoming services in Santa Monica, on this Sunday AM & PM.

Redlands, CA Meetings

REDLANDS, CA MEETINGS:  We just returned home from a great weekend of meetings at New Life Chapel in Redlands, CA with Pastor Dennis Evangelisto.  With the help of the Holy Spirit, I was able to give a personal prophetic word of encouragement to many.  I praise God for the power of His Word that “will not return void”. (Is 55:11a)

A Fresh Vision in 2010

We have moved into this near year with a “Fresh Vision” of what God has called us to do. I have preached a message all across the country entitled, “What Do You See?”. It was a call to envision and embrace all that God has for us. It is important for us to know what that is and to keep our eyes focused upon it. The Bible says that without a vision we will perish. (Prov. 29:18a) As for me, my “Fresh Vision” for this year is to see more people saved, healed, delivered and restored in our services. May God help us all to have a “Fresh Vision” for souls in 2010.  So be it Lord Jesu!

A Fresh Anointing in 2010

As we began our 2010 Ministry Schedule I sensed a “Fresh Anointing” upon my lips. An undeniable fresh flow of the Holy Spirit has come upon my preaching of the Word of God. Spontaneous revelation has recurringly come in the midst of my prepared message. Some months ago, Pastor Sean Appleton of the Quartz Hill Foursquare Church in Southern California prophesied the promise of Romans 10:8a over me, that God’s Word was not only near me, but that His Word was in my mouth! I received that word in faith believing and am now experiencing the impartation of this powerful promise from the Lord.

Loving God with ALL of Your Heart

LOVING GOD WITH ALL OF YOUR HEART

On 41 occasions the Bible says that we are to love and serve the Lord our God with “All” of our heart.  It is a recurring command of the Lord that calls for an exclusive “whole hearted” surrender.  When we choose to love the Lord with “ALL” of our heart that means that there will be nothing left of our heart to love or serve anything or anyone else.  The capacity of our hearts to love has been completely consumed with loving the Lord alone.  While the devil may try to capture some of our heart’s affection, there will be nothing left of our heart to surrender to him.  We will be “surrendered out” as it were, to Jesus.  The capacity of our hearts to love will be all used up, loving and serving our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

How much then do we love the Lord our God?  If it hasn’t been with all of our heart, the devil will try to capture those unsurrendered areas over to him and his ways.  This is why the Lord has commanded us to love the Lord with all of our heart so there will be nothing left for the devil’s choosing.

Deut. 6:5: “And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength”.

So be it Lord Jesus!
