I just can’t see….

Often when we have encountered those discouraging times in life when nothing seems to be working for us, we find ourselves saying, “I just can’t see” how I’m going to make it” or “I just can’t see how I’m going to get through this or get through that or I just can’t see how any of what I’m going through could ever “work for good”. Life can be overwhelming at times and even the best of us can find ourselves saying, “I just can’t see”. When we say “I just can’t see” it is not because we don’t have the ability to see or are lacking an what we need to see. No, it’s simply because you need more light! Light is what enables us to see, it is what releases our spiritual vision to operate. If you are in a completely dark room where there is no light, you can place your hand just a couple inches in front of you nose and you won’t see it, not because it is not there, but because you need light to see it! This is why Jesus said, “I am the light of the world”. (Jn. 8:12a) He is the One who enables us to see in the most difficult of times. So what is the answer when you “just can’t see”, it is Jesus! We need more of Him, more of His fulness, more of His grace and more of His power working in us, so that we might see! So be it Lord Jesus!
